Showcase

Located in close proximity to where marketing conference appointments take place, the Showcase allows supplier members the opportunity to display their featured products in a wide variety of merchandising formats including: floor displays, wing panels, counter displays, clip strips, new products, merchandising concepts and indvidual items.  Throughout the course of a marketing conference each attending wholesale and retail member receives a scheduled appointment to visit the Showcase, and they are also encouraged to browse the room at their leisure. 

As buyers enter the Showcase room for their appointments they are issued a hand-held scanner to be used to record any items of interest.  Shortly after leaving the Showcase buyers receive an email overview of the products they scanned and the corresponding supplier members receive an email notification that their entry was scanned by a particular buyer.  Additionally, during each conference, the current highest-scanned items are posted in near real-time at the entrance to and directly on the CCC appointment floor.

Participating supplier members are welcome to enter the Showcase during GMDC receptions and meals, as well as during a scheduled conference appointment---when accompanied by a wholesale or retail member. 

The Showcase is the ideal venue for a supplier member to place their featured products, promotions, and merchandising innovations in front of EVERY buyer at a GMDC marketing conference; offering the opportunity for increased on-site appointment potential and post-conference follow-up sales activity.  Because a buyers' interest is immediately captured and electronically communicated, it's like having a virtual appointment with every wholesaler/retailer company in attendance.

A supplier company must be a GMDC member and be registered for the conference in order to participate in the Showcase.  A per-entry fee is assessed.
